The Kutys Lab is recruiting! We are actively recruiting creative and enthusiastic postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and research specialists. Join funded positions on projects that combine biomimetic human tissue models and cellular and molecular technologies to dissect the molecular principles and cellular logic that underlies tissue architecture, homeostasis and morphogenesis (see Research). Our multidisciplinary research team welcomes a broad range of experimental and quantitative backgrounds including cell biology, engineering, biomaterials, developmental biology, synthetic biology, physics, and chemistry. We are committed to building a diverse group of open-minded individuals - interested candidates should contact Matt via email.
Postdocs: We're looking to add a postdoc to our team to study 1) Notch and adherens junction mechanosignaling during morphogenesis of vascular networks and tumor progression (see our ad), or 2) multiscale profiling of mechanical and growth/fate signaling in microfluidic organoid models. Postdoc candidates should email their C.V. and cover letter with a brief summary of academic training, research interests, and technical skills! PhD / MS students: Starting Winter/Spring 2020, we will be recruiting multiple students from:
Research specialist / technician: We are seeking candidates at post-baccalaureate level and higher that are interested in developing a diverse technical skill set while contributing to cutting edge, multidisciplinary research. Experience with iPSC and organoid culture is desired. Interested candidates should email with any questions and apply here: https://aprecruit.ucsf.edu/JPF02888. |
